Nicely done Dave. The Arko soap you'll find excellent as well.

Great razor! I posted on your other thread about open combs. This is a beauty and you should really enjoy it. Is this your first DE razor? I had mine plated in nickel as well and I use it on the Ikon handle. Mine came with a ball end handle that I simply do not care for. Ikon bulldog handle makes a very good match for the New LC.

I just scored a New Deluxe set a few days ago and the New Deluxe head is basically a New LC with a thicker, heavier bottom plate that absorbs that center groove into the thickness of the plate. Very cool OC head. A heavier version of the New LC. I shaved with it once and liked it, but it was not home. Tomorrow I will try it in my home environment and really enjoy it. Perhaps I'll shim it just like I do with my New LC. These are on a mild side, but a touch more aggressive than an EJ DE89, I would say. Still not a monster and very well behaved.

Krona Kruiser on B&B did the work.

This will be my thrid razor behind a Vincent and a EJ DE89. I can't wait for morning time. A cup of Joe, a pipeful of Short Cut To Mushrooms and a great wet shave.

He has done work for me in the past. Highly recommended. He is also a member here as well.
