It is sort of funny.. I debate with myself for weeks if I should buy a new brush or a new razor... yet I'm able to walk into a dealership and buy this is less than an hour:

And the reason for buying that? Well, I also bought this:

Yes, I'm now the owner of a Honda Zoomer, aka Ruckus in the US - a fun, fuel efficient 50cc motorscooter. They didn't have the colour I wanted at the dealership, so I'll take delivery next week. So much looking forward to NOT taking the car to work every morning... never mind the fact that the reduced spending on gas will have paid it off in two to three years.
Fun, cheap and green - what is not to like

Fat tires makes for a smoother ride, and while I never seen a Honda Mini before I can see the resemblance.
I am in the lucky position of having two roads I can use to commute; one highway and one back road. The back road is shorter... so I can use this new toy and have fun along the way

Kind of looks like the Cushmans from the 70,s...one very serious tip...ALWAYS wear your helmet .It is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself..they can be hot but they are essential..and use the very best one you can get!!!!! Sorry to nag but i have been visiting a man in a coma since 2/22/12 with very serious brain damage..he had on his cool looking pot helmet and not the heavy good one.

Picked it up today - going to take me a little while to get used to driving it; it has been years since I was last on a scooter.
Like the saying go though; like riding a bike - once you learn it you'll never forget
The helmet is the one the insurance company and dealership recommends based on injury rates, and the box under the seat can be mounted and dismounted easily - it's going in when I'm going shopping, and out when I don't need it.
