Got an email from Robert last night. He sent me a couple of pictures of my completed scuttle. It's ready to ship.

Very nice. Robert made my first scuttle. I never did get to use it as I dropped it before I could get it to the bathroom. Got a new DB and have never looked back.

It looks great. I've enjoyed my Becker scuttle very much, especially for larger brushes, for which its dimensions are perfect. I hope you really like yours.

Oh wow, beautiful! I dropped out of scuttledom a few years ago but that beauty is intriguing on a couple of levels! Enjoy and share when you get it!

Becker scuttles are outstanding. I have one similar to that one.

3 weeks to the day from the date I placed the order. He has a sample page on his site that shows quite a few different colors.

This scuttle arrived on Saturday, no need for additional pictures as it is the exact piece already shown. It really is quite a nice piece. I've had some tell me that a scuttle isn't any good if it isn't hand thrown. I'm not going to argue the point about being hand thrown vs. slip poured. I have one of each and only time will tell me if durability is on par. My recommendation is that everyone should have one of each DirtyBird's and one of Robert's. His work is very good and the finish is without blems. Robert's price is excellent. This really did turn out nice. I look forward to using it.

I'm not so bright in the mornings (until my first cup of coffee), I'd be afraid I'd end up lathering in my tea pot and brewing in my scuttle!!! Tongue

Ahh... hence the reason for the cork. It's a little bump reminder. Biggrin
