One year ago, tired of getting ingrown whiskers by using an electric razor, I decided to go back to wet shaving. I dug out my old brush and mug, and went to the store to get supplies. Surprisingly, I couldn't find my old standby Old Spice shaving soap. I went on-line to get some resources, and found the Shave Nook.

Because of your help from the Nook, I have tried a lot of wet shaving products that I never would have tried. Different soaps, blades, and razors.

Today I shaved with a Dovo Shavette and a Derby blade, Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Soap, making my lather in my Dirty Bird mug with my Shave Mac Horn badger brush. Everything about my shave today I literally learned from you all!

I just want to thank you all for the info and guidance throughout the last year.

Excellent!

But inquiring minds want to know... how was the shave?

The shave was great! In fact, since I don't work Saturdays, I didn't have to shave but it is just so nice to make some nice warm lather and shave. Smooth as a newborn's butt!
