We had a house guest last weekend.
After using the bathroom for her morning routine she came out of the bathroom and asked me "what's with the CREEPY razor collection?"

She had obviously opened the closet and saw my nook. It is set up to be functional not a display.

I asked her why she felt my razors were creepy. She said having all those razors ready to go was creepy. i pointed out they were all "unloaded" and did not have blades in them. That seemed to calm her down. Also pointed out my small razor collection was dwarfed by her Warner Brothers cartoons collectibles. That she could relate to.

So here is my creepy nook.

You need to send your house guest down to visit Obie. If she thought that stuff in the closet behind closed doors was creepy, she would have a stroke seeing what Obie has setting on top of the counter, out in the open. And his razors are loaded.Smile

That is a bank that will be used as a blade bank when my current one fills up.

I have a pic on this thread.

Show her this pic of what's under my bed. Biggrin I happened to add about ten more to the pile, maybe more.

Scared

This is precisely why I have strategically devised separate holding areas throughout the house, so that prying eyes won't be more alarmed than usual with my eccentricities! The only challenge sometimes is remembering 'what is where' ... Huh

A motel at their expense will fix all of it.

Yup, sure, creepy shave nook. What's on her mind I wonder?

She probably has more "war paint" in her purse.

She is entitled to her opinion.

Even if she is completely wrong.
