It looks like that most of the handles are either Bakelite or a light weight metal coated with Plastic.

But some models have a metal handle ... the 1940/1941 Silver Handle one looks like metal.

And the two Gold Colored ones of the G-Type looks like metal.

And maybe one of the older ones that looks like a pair of scissors looks like it is made out of metal.

Does anyone have one of these Silver or Gold metal looking handle injector razors?

And does anyone know of a good website where you can look up some of this info?

And, if you want to know where this page is located, look at the very top of the page where it says WIKI.

Thanks -

There are more pictures on this site.

I did find this site information on the web as well as another site that had slightly different information.

But, this site has more pictures.

I went to a Antique Store over the weekend and found a G-2 - Gold Tone Ever Ready Schick. The top back end of the handle was a little worn from sitting in a drawer.

When I got it home and cleaned it, I discovered that the Blade that I thought was left in the razor was really the original copper slide that was sent with the razor when it was originally shipped out.

So I got a never been used before G-2 in pretty good shape other than the slight rubbing on the top back end of the handle for a wopping $4.30.

Great! My birth year is 1948, I have a few eversharp-schick razors, but as they have no dates on them, I'm not positive they are the 'real' 1948 ones. Is there a site that has photos or more info on this specific razor??

Has me more confused. G1 ; like the Gillette, seems to cover more than 1yr and has different storage boxes. I have the plastic but now it seems that I want the cardboard and even then its multi year !! Not doing well with this idea.
