I bought an NPV pure bristle brush just for the handle only
Reminds me marble so reminds me my country
My intentions was to change the knot so i bought an TGN pure badger at 22mm
The curious thing about that restoration was not that i changed the factory ring but that "pink" glue that the factory used
I haven't see it to another brush.

Great job! When I restore old brushes I see the pink stuff a lot. In the old brushes it is almost always rubber. They used to set knots on rubber in the old days. It was usually pink and very hard. It's possible that your brush was set with rubber as well.

In any case, great job re-knotting the handle. Enjoy the brush!

That is it. Rubber like what is used in pencil erasers.
