Just for the fun of looking, here are a few of the more recent restoration/re-knottings I did, all with TGN knots. The one on the far right has yet to be lathered.

Those are nice! Really like the green ones. What make handles are they? I can never find green ones!

Beautiful set of vintage brushes. One more and you'll have a seven- day set. The TGN Finest are great knots.

Thanks.

One is an Ever-Ready with a TGN 24 mm Silvertip knot. Very soft. A little less backbone than some, more than others (seemingly due to thin hair shafts).

The other is a McNess with a 24 mm Finest fan. A very heavy handle and a personal favorite. This is a pre-bloom photo.

I've done several others but these are the one that I've yet to give as gifts or sell.

TGN knots are excellent. I concur with most that I favor their Finest grade. I prefer bulbs for the most part. I've learned not to set fans too high or they'll become too moppy. There has been inconsistency over time with what you get. Some have been finer and denser, some stiffer but all good.

Nothing bad to say about their other grades either. The dark red Lath-R-Ade has a 22 mm Super Badger knot that's very nice also.
