Now I've never liked or felt comfortable about stropping my razors in the bathroom, so I commandeered myself the small back bedroom where I carry out minor maintenance and edge duties, this is my little set up where I can easily put my hands on most bits and pieces without to much fuss, I have a pasted bench strop with velcro strips for easy removal on my work bench I also have my Kanayama and Tony miller attached to two stainless steel marine eyelets on the bench, the brush you see is a ladies makeup brush for cleaning off any dust from my bench strop before stropping, the unit is a very sturdy four cube unit I picked up from Ikea, and the storage boxes can also be sourced from Ikea.

That's my Mrs makeup brush Celestino, I use it for brushing off any dust that may settle on my bench strop.

Awesome setup Jamie..

I don't have pictures to share, but stropping is done in a walk-in closet adjoining the master bathroom. Plenty of room to stretch out as needed and little chance my daughter will come charging in. The only places at home I care to shave are the master bath or outside on the deck (weather permitting). Maintenance is divided between a few spots.. My garage has a well appointed work bench with a vintage vice that I have dimpled for pinning. But I prefer the work shop which is a 12x12 building I constructed a few years as my man-cave.. primarily set up with woodworking tools, I also work on scales and polishing projects out there.

I also hone on my back deck, again weather permitting.

My strops just hang on my bedroom door knobs.

Sharpening station is the kitchen sink and everything is put away into the cupboards when not in use.

The machines are outside (uncomfortable in bad weather).

My kitchen is also where I hone my razors, the kitchen sink and surrounding area and large marble slab for lapping my stones.
