Druida Traveler Dymondwood Tapestry

Hello friends. Here I show a brush made by "El Druida" for me. It is a custom order. You remember the extraordinary Rubberset N158 I had the good fortune to find in a very good condition. Here you will see http://shavenook.com/thread-rubberset-n158-travel-brush

Before leaving on vacation this summer, as you know I bought a few pieces of Dymondwood and I sent them to El Druida's workshop, along with two old brushes to restore. This brush is based on the measures of the Rubberset N158, and shape of the handle is according to my personal preference for a good hold, at the very small size.

Dymondwood is a laminate of dyed birchwood, pressed at high temperature with phenolic resins. Has a significant hardness and density, which provides a weight to the brushes which makes them very stable when upright. Is highly waterproof, and finishing is water sanding up to 1500 grit and plastic polish, in this case NOVUS. Do not need anything else.

You know that I like brushes with colored handles. And in this case El Druida has done an extraordinary job.

Friends, the pics after bloom were missing. This little brush has blossomed beautifully. Performance is spectacular! With his little knot of 16 mm and 40 mm loft, it is a little machine to generate lather. I have loaded soap to three passes plus the last one, the comfort one.
