I received several of these sticks a few years ago and I've been fooling around with them in the past, and here are some of my observations:

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Fantastic lather very easily.

Longevity of lather: 9/10--Great that way also. Very stable.

General skincare: 1/10--Drying and irritating. A 1 is even too high.

Scent: 9/10--Beautiful. Very traditional and barbershoppy.

Price: N/A--No idea. A gentleman in Poland sent them to me.

Would I buy again:--0/10 No, not a chance.

This brand is originally Polish-made and apparently was discontinued 50 years ago, and in my very honest and unbiased opinion it's really no great loss. Sure, you get great and stable lather and the scent transports you back to the days of the old-school traditional barbershops, but it lacks in skincare. Ah, well - you can't win 'em all!

Thanks for the review, Jeff. I generally like vintage soaps and creams, so it's good to hear about this one's shortcomings.

John, believe me the performance lather-wise and stability-wise is very good, but your skin will probably not feel too good unless you quickly put on a good aftershave balm. The scent as I said, is really nice.
