I knew there would be such a thing but I had never found one, till now!
A NOS Lady's Shave Set.
Pink satin in a nice pressed celluloid (I think) covered case.
Not cheap and already bespoke!
Good hunting to you all!

I found it in an antique shop about 80miles from home.It was in a dirty paned, cluttered, display case at the back of a bottom shelf. I did get 20% off for cash...First one I have ever seen and it was complete.
Back in the day; the lady of the house must have used her man's razor for there was no space or indentation for one.
And, yes, The set goes to a wonderful lady who runs a local antique shop. She has done me and the shaving community a great many favors and asks shave customers to contact me before buying so they know they have a choice. She has a digital photo frame with about 100 SOTDs sequencing thorugh. Occasionally she sells one of my blades. She also posts information about links of where to go online for information about shaving.
This forum is included!
More power to shops like hers!

Richard, where is your friends shop located? I may have to pay them a visit some time.

Nice gesture on your part.

Menomonie, WI.
And another with a bunch of older SE's and DE's known as "RIVER TRADER" in Eau Claire WI. A man's antique store. I have bought a lot of razors from them and they still have a fairly larger selection than any other place I have seen. A few Lather Catchers there in the original cans from 1886 and a Wilkinson or two and I think another Rapide. A real nice Autostrop set and some Gillettes and Schicks. Of course a few fair to nice Rolls.' They will bargain!
The first place I saw 'Big tin razor' sign like I showed a while back was there. It sold within two days for $450.

PS they also have a listing of links for shavers' there!
