Gentlemen,

This is the Feather Artist Club DX stainless steel Pearl. It's a well made razor and a sweet shaver. Since I prefer the traditional straight razor, this one does not work for me. The price is $175 shipped U.S. A ProGuard blade cartridge included — there should be about 11 or 12 blades left in it. Paypal is fine. Thanks.

Oh man, would love to upgrade to the DX but I feel that I should at least shave with my newly acquired SS once before thinking about upgrading. Tongue

Charles, the DX is much closer to the traditional straight razor, whereas the SS version has the somewhat rounded edge on the blade holder. I always found the SS somewhat awkward, although it, too, is a fine shaver.

I've read this too but I have to see if I even enjoy the straight shave experience before justifying a purchase like this. Hoping to find a deal like this if or when I am ready to move up to the DX. GLWTS tho!

Charles, shaving with the traditional straight razor or one with replaceable blades is an experience that takes time to fully appreciate. Whether you buy this razor or others, take your time learning the craft. Once you fully embrace it and hone your skill, you will not look back. Stay with it.
