Where to start. Twice a year there is a ladies group at our church that puts care baskets together for folks that have no jobs, some are living in shelters, etc. A very worthy cause. Over the year when I get those little extra goodies vendors include in their orders like cream and blade samples, I put them in a box and tell my wife to donate them to this group as some men would like them.

Well, this morning was their first meeting of 2012 and I had to go out and clear 13" of wet heavy snow we received last night. My wife said if you can clear the snow, I can load the car. So while I was shoveling and snowblowing snow I could see my wife carrying out some clothes we don't use or need and several boxes of stuff. She got all loaded up and off she went to do her good deed.

I get through and come inside to get a cup of coffee and warm up and I see this note the wife had left me. It said, I have taken a few extra things that I see you don't use or have to much of. Here is what she took.

1 - Feather Popular Razor
50 - Feather Blades
1 - Cella Red Container
1 - Bottle of Mennens

AND THE KILLER!!!

7 - Bottles of my Floid Blue "" P

Needless to say, this is not a good day.

Yikes! It is time to see an attorney. That is ABUSE! D,

Seriously...I am sorry to hear about that. Just out of curiosity, she took 7 bottles out of how many total?

The only way to foil her plot is to buy 12 bottles of Alt Innsbruck and thank her for clearing the space. Fight fire with fire I say. =9

Oy, that reminds me of when my mother threw out my comic book collection (which would be worth a fortune today, as well as being great to peruse) after I went off to college.

You must love her a lot because I saw no mention of divorce proceedings in your tale of horror. ; }

That's heavy, man. I've just bought my first bottle and am struggling not to start hoarding the stuff compulsively. Hopefully it'll give a lift to someone down on his luck...still...damn.

I've come to grips with the whole deal and am at peace with what happened. I try to keep my thoughts on a bunch of happy campers that now feel and smell good.

Life is to short. I will rebuild my inventory until it's no longer available, I run out of money, or I'm planted six feet under. In case of the latter it won't make much difference one way or the other.

Something my Dad use to tell me comes to mind at a time like this, "100-years from now, won't nobody know the difference".

Is there anywhere online you can buy a small sample of Floid Blue? I'd like to try a bit of it before committing to a whole bottle (and by trying it I mean make sure my wife finds the smell nice enough for me to order the full bottle)

I don't know where you can buy a sample. But, you buy a bottle from Italian Barber and if either you or you wife does not like it, I will gladly buy it from you.

I hate to hear about your loss, Johnny. I guess you just have a few more slots to fill in your collection now.

No, she actually loves the way it smells. She just wanted the other half of the town to smell good. Wink

This story is just as sad no matter how many times (and places) I read it. Glad you two have it worked out Johnny.
