I just received samples of this stuff, and I got the Lavender, and Sandalwood & Cedar - both in cream forms. Yet, the Lime is a semi-solid soap, almost like it was replaced with Razorock soap to fool me.

God, the Sandalwood & Cedar stinks to high heaven. And they charge $40 for this stuff?

Why do they send it like this? Especially since we're paying top $$$ for the product?

I dont understand what you mean.
Creams usually, after a period of time (specially if you dont use them) go hard like a shaving soap.Actually a cream is a shaving soap with more water on them, thats all.

Yes the lime is very dense but great stuff have you tried it yet? 40 bucks? It can be found cheaper than that. of course your results may very.

I don't see much difference between a hard cream and soft soap. My CF Lime and Lavender were both a similar consistency to Cella. It does take less and lasts longer than a softer cream like Taylor or Salter.

Same with my Lime and Lavender. The Lavender actually turned a little softer because I sometimes put it away without letting all the moisture on top of the cream dry out.

This stuff is made for swirling directly in the tub...half of the complaints I see about these creams are probably due to people not using it right. Those little sample containers aren't really good for loading. You might want to transfer it to a larger container where you can actually swirl directly on the soap-like cream with your brush.

I think it depends how long the retailer have stocked the tube before one uses it.

I have had a lavender tube that was semi solid like a croap.

The lemon tube I currently use, has the same creamy consistency as my Trumper coconut.
I have bought it at the time the new paraben free formulation was released. I guess the tube was produced only a few weeks before I got it.

In both case, the Shaving cream is great (I love EO scented products).
