Gent and Ladies,

Be wary of purchasing any Acqua Di Parma Shave Soaps from Amazon seller AZPERFUME. I recently bought (2) AdP Shave Soaps from them and both had major flaws. One of the jars caps was completely cracked and there was water instrusion into the soap. The other had a flawed cap and was not chromed all the way around...I did not open to check the contents.

Luckily I was able to obtain a refund under Visa's Buyer Protection, but be warned if buying soaps from this seller. Amazon Customer Service was nice but unable to help since they did not sell or ship it.

Matt

I offered to send them back to the seller, but he was sort of offput by it making it sound like I may have tampered with the containers...That's why I say be wary.

This is one reason I only purchase from Amazon sellers with at least a few hundred feedbacks/reviews and 98% or higher positive feedback scores for BOTH lifetime and 30 days.
I see this company has 95% lifetime and 92% for 30 days..with over 30,000 people leaving feedback, that is a lot of peeved customers.

Great advice!

I got an email from the seller this morning with an apology and an offer to replace the soaps at no charge...undoubtedly he saw my post about letting my "shaving associates" know about the shody practices...so I took him up on it. We'll see if the "2-new" pots of AdP are any better, but still be careful ordering from this guy...He may have made it right, but it should have been right to begin with...He stated that he gets his stock from surplus warehouses, but I'm not buying it...Seemed to be returns, not surplus...
