I am looking for Rooney Heritage 3 Band brushes. Those preceeded the Heritage line currently offered in 2 Band. This is different hair than the current 3 band offerings in Heritage handles. What I am looking for was sold in 2008-10, I believe.

Ideally a Stubby 2 (24/25mm) or a Beehive.

Thanks.
Georg

Good luck I have the Heritage Stubby 2 3 band and it's the best Badger brush I've ever used.

Take a look here also!

It appears to be similar to the Fendrihan offerings, but from a US vendor, HandleBar Supply.

Interesting, as I thought Vintage Blades and Classic Shaving were the only Rooney vendors here in the US ...

Boy, those Rooney Stubby handles sure seem quite different than the ones I have seen. They seem much taller than the stated lengths, or is it just my impression! They list the total height as 90mm, but I just don't see the handle being only 40mm for the Stubby 2 on one site and 45mm on the other! Blush

Thanks for the links gentlemen. I am bit unsure what kind of hair these new 3 band Heritage brushes have. If it is like regular Rooney Silvertip then I am less inclined. Also the lofts on those Stubbies are a bit short for my liking.
I have an Alibaba from the "original" 3 Band Heritage run and the hair is just like no other.
That is why I am seeking an "original" Heritage 3 Band brush...

Wow those are some nice Rooney's, the long lost 3 bands seem to be back at a few Canadian Retailers.

Along with a hefty price tag as well.

Were you the lucky new owner of this:

?
It doesn't appear to be from the original run of Heritage brushes though.

I've wondered about this new crop of Heritage 3-bands myself. I own an old style Heritage Emilion 2, 3-band and I would agree there is no other 3-band like it. Exceptionally dense with impeccably soft tips. Almost like a super soft Finest. I did look at the new Rooneys at Men Essentials and they looked very nice but the knots didn't appear quite as densely packed. Of course it's hard to tell until you've used one.
