I just made a video for the J.L. Petree Two Band badger brush. I made a mistake when I said Vie-Long has been making brushes since the 1950's. They have actually been making them since 1940.

Phil, great to hear the beehive is coming back. The Petree Silvertip I picked up from you has been in heavy rotation, all around great brush. Thanks for the recommendation.

I really want to try Vie-Long badger, but the Petree looks like it might be too short-lofted for my skin, so I'm super excited about a new batch of bee-hives!

Nice video Phil. I have the horse hair version of that brush and it's excellent.

You even pronounced the last name correctly. Biggrin

I own both JL Peteree's - one in 2-band and one in 3-band.
Also own the Butterscotch Beehive Vie Long 3-band Silvertip Bullgoose special edition extra densely packed brush and all 3 brushes perform EXCELLENT !

Also own 3 other Vie Long's I bought from Gifts and care and they all perform great.

I have only positive things to say about the Vie Long brand of brushes.

I've been checking this exact vie-Long LE brush shown by Bullgoose for quite awhile, as its always appeared to be very high quality, has a great price. I even like the little story attached to the Gent whom it was built for... I've thought this may be my first Vie-Long brush to add to the mix...I've held off for a couple reasons, but this video only confirms what I've hoped this brush would be - pretty damn cool that is...oooozing value and cream/soapShocked
