I just found this place that sells the Personna Injector blades at a great price (in bulk), and thought I'd mention it here in case someone is looking to buy some.

http://www.razorbladeco.com/category/16-...lades.aspx

That's $37 for 240 blades. Pretty nice, I think.

People say that the Chinese Schicks are better than the Personna ones, but I've not found that to be the case. They seem about the same to me. YMMV, of course.

Definitely YMMV. Both my barber and I find the Chinese Schick blades to be far superior.

I also know that Ted Pella sells these injector blades in bulk but I have never been interested enough to look up the price.

Good info, thanks for sharing. I find the Personna's superior, the schicks were too rough for my liking.

The Ted Pella ones are made by Personna and are $4.90 for a dispenser of 20.

http://www.tedpella.com/dissect_html/dissect.htm#_121_4

So 240 blades would be $58.80 from Ted Pella. They sometimes will discount that price when buying in quantity and if you have them shipped to a business address, as in your workplace address.

So the razorbladeco.com price is great.

HA! BiggrinBiggrin

This is one of the better examples of YMMV - in just three posts we've had opinions from:

1) They're both about the same
2) The Chinese Schicks are way better
3) The Personna blades are way better

Can't get any more YMMV than that! Biggrin

As usual, there's no controversy here. Everyone is right. Only you know what works for your face.

Both Schick and Personna work well for me, the difference being it usually takes a few shave for the Personna to really hit its stride whereas the Schick is good to go right out of the gate.

I have only tried the schick brand. I find them to be fantastic. Is there a good source for a bulk by on them? My local mom and pop drug store carries them 7 blades for $7.50. For the performance I think that is fair, but I can't hord them at that price. Biggrin

Just thought I'd add this link as well for the Schick injector blades. Not much of a deal but still a good source...

The best source may be on Amazon. You can get them for $4 for a pack (shipping extra).
