Lets not get political. This has absolutely nothing to do with Democrat Versus Republican. It is simply Bureaucracy at its finest.

Once again, I must emphasize the importance of members not posting political thoughts/comments/sentiments ... let's keep the forum free of such content, as per the forum rules.

Phil I'm sorry you're dealing with this kind of doodoo and agree with you that it's an unnecessary barrier to trade. Is there a trade group with a lobby in DC who addresses these types of issues and that you have access to? I would make sense to me that there are trade groups who are focused on these types of issues.

If you don't have any, PM me as I have a few ideas about this.

This is bizarre. There's this guy I know, let's call him "me", who can order tobacco online and cigarettes with no problem. But, heaven forbid if I want to buy a Tabac stick from you.

Just doesn't make sense.

Welp, I've gotta go. My kid is sucking the lead base paint off of one of his imported Chinese toys.

Even if Chinese toys have lead paint.

That's insane, metric is THE global standard. How can imports listed in grams not be allowed???

Sad to hear this Phil.

Palmolive is a nice cream - having it available worldwide would not hurt anyone I would think.

Trade regulations really spoil some of the fun - and the business.

Same problem in EU.
Had two months of Odyssey with Italian Customs about four bottles of Pinaud aftershave lotion.
In my country there is this proverb: "the perfect is the enemy of the good".
Sometime, seeking perfection ... can waste the good. Cool

Good Luck, to all of us. Tongue

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Angry Although I received a pallet of shave soaps from Spain 8 days ago (after two months at sea), I am still waiting for the FDA to give me their blessing. <sigh>
