A double Americano at one of my favorite local coffeehouses. Smooth perfection.
Ravi, unfortunately I cannot take credit for that term. However, the term I would have liked to use is totally unprintable so I decided to be good (just this once

Well, I'll forgive you this time since you know what Charbucks really is.

I generally agree with y'all regarding Charbucks (love that and I haven't heard it before, I will be using it from now on) but I recently had a very different experience. If you have a Starbucks near you then you need to see if they have a Clover brewing system (Google it, it's pretty neat). A new Starbucks opened near our closest Sam's Club so we stopped in. It is super nice and I noticed something different, the Clover. I asked about it and after a brief description I got a cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee that was ground in front of me and then brewed in about 90s via the Clover system. It was the absolute best cup of coffee I've ever had from this establishment. I look forward to having another in the near future.

This is all news to me. About the only time I drink Charbucks is if that is the only option at the airport while I'm waiting for a flight and, somehow, I doubt that this Clover will be there anytime soon.

Phil, if you're thinking like me then the AeroPress has been a very pleasant surprise. Even I can make a decent cup of coffee with it!
Definitely! I am glad that Yohann reviewed it.

Starbucks purchased Clover a few years ago. I never see the machines anywhere anymore but then I avoid the 'Bucks except in total desperation. There is a really fun new machine out called the Steampunk. I've seen it in just one place so far.

I know, I'm a philistine, but I actually like the coffee we make on weekdays with Starbucks light roast beans, ground in a Braun and brewed in a Krups machine. I admit that I don't like their darker roasts, but the light ("blonde") roasts such as the Veranda and Willow blends, are just fine. So sue me.

No one is going to sue you, John.
