Sorry to get everyone excited, but it is a three-band. As far as I know, Simpsons never made a T4 as a two-band unless it was a special order.

Contact me with any more questions. Best!

Is $6 off retail with no pics and possibly no warranty (since buying 2nd hand) worth it?

It's $235.50 at WCS though and $234 at SRD

The Tulip is my favourite of all Simpson handles, a real beauty.

Hopefully some pics soon.

Agreed Bruce, it's a wonderful handle shape.

I owned the T1 through to T4, but now only a T3 Manchurian...

I own a T3 in 2-band and I have a T2 in 2-band on its way to me. The Tulip is easily my fav of all the Simpsons I've tried (quite a few) and a brush that I think anybody would enjoy. GLWTS!!!

Someone needs to jump on this, the T-4 is a beautiful brush. A thick and elegant handle with a knot that gives you a face-fulla-badger.

In February 2012, I purchased a T4S 2-band from Stanmog (I think it was a BST posting on one of the other shave forums, but I can't find record of it). I do not know if Stan acquired it as a special order.

I am about to pull this off the market. I have not seen this brush, brand new and never used, sell this much off of retail.

Although $220 is an attractive price, it is one more example of the price difference between a brand new car on the showroom floor and the less-than-one-day-old identical vehicle that's been titled over to a private owner. Since you also have to incur PayPal fees and postage charges, the net, net bottom line loss for you is much greater than $14.90, but potential buyers just don't get it!

Good luck with the sale.
