I have already spoken with Connaught shaving here in the UK this morning. They are planning to sell it but at this time have no estimated time of arrival.

The question is, how much longer until it's available. This is definitely a soap that has had a long wait it seems to it, dating back to last year from what I have read.

I've always been a fan of Valobra's style and packaging - very art deco. I really hope they make those pucks available with those blue bowls. The puck itself looks exactly like C&S with the circular ridges.

This is fantastic news, I love Valobra performance and it's like they were reading my mind on the scents they chose. (Huge Fougere and Patchouli fan here.) Hope to see these soon.

Paul at Connaught Shaving has been back in touch with me this afternoon. He will have the new soaps available in 4 to 5 weeks time, retailing at £18.

A while back, I had the luck to test one of the "prototypes" of this soap, and Leon (Bruno) as well. Wink

Some of our thoughts are here (in portuguese, sorry for that!)

That prototype didn't had much of a scent in it, I believe it was one of the prototypes that Valobra made for that Bullgoose failed project... but the performance was superb, in line with the performance of the stick. Wink A Fougère scented Valobra soap sounds like music to my ears. Smile

Based on products at Connaught that sell for a similar price, that means the cost will be about about £15 ex. VAT, plus £2.55 shipping to the USA, which converts to $28 delivered.

I'm interested to see how big these pucks are.

While I seem to be loving the old tallow version of AOS soaps that were supposed to be made by Valbora, I sure hope these new Valbora pucks are bigger than themBiggrin

They look similar to the C&S pucks that are 90g

I thought about that but the description says "double weight". The sticks are 50g, implying these are 100g, though perhaps 90g is close enough to being double. 90g, 100g...I guess it really doesn't matter.

Very nice to see them coming to market, but $30/90g puck (if that's what they are) is out my range right now. Maybe that includes the jar and/or is 150g in which case it would be considered.

Hope they are good as everyone raves about C&S and AOS tallow.
