Gentlemen,

Here is a Wade & Butcher wedge that will give you a good taste of what an old Sheffield blade can do for your shave. The blade starts at 11/16 at the heel and goes up to 6/8 at the toe. It is a full wedge square point. The razor has been partially restored, as you can see, and is in a good shape for its age. I am sure the scales are not original. Some rusting at the pivot and some cleaned out pits here and there highlight the razor's place in history. There are also obvious hone marks after so many years. The pins are tight and the blade closes center. I honed it with two layers of tape and shave tested it. Oy! This Wade & Butcher is a wonder of a shaver. If you've never had a taste of a Wade & Butcher wedge, here is your chance to step back in time and experience what the shave was like back then. The price, which includes U.S. shipping, is $75. Paypal is fine. No trades, please. Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words, gentlemen. Yes, the razor has been around the block a few times. Yet it still looks good and shaves well. It is a testament to these great old razors.
