I thought I would share part of an email I have had with Joe from the Italian Barber regarding XXX and Mudder Focker (MF). Also how many of you would be interested in Razor rock MF now that XXX is coming back in tallow formula. Is there any interest in MF?
Joes comments are as follows:

"XX and XXX, are two fragrances. They are very different.
XXX is indeed making a comeback, but this time in tallow form.
Scent association is a funny thing, and I know where you are coming from .
Maybe we will consider re-releasing MF next year, let me ponder it."

Is there any interest out there in bringing MF back?

I'd be interested in it coming back. I have a half tub left and would be ready to order another one by then. I think it's a top notch soap and a great light scent.

Haven't had a chance to try the original, so very excited to try this new version, particularly considering it now will have tallow!

YES YES YES...All I wanted in XXX was to read tallow in the formula, now it's becoming a realityAngel & Mudder Focker is an all time favorite! Still have two tubs on ice and one in rotation...stocked up thinking it was gone, but boy am I happy it'll be back.

For XXX...I liked it, but not better than its doppleganger AdP... that said, however, there is no disputing the buying power of XXX vs AdP...it's a 6 to 1 ratio...I'll take the XXX Biggrin

There was something about the name "Mudder Focker" that for me was off-putting, so I probably would not buy it simply for that reason, although it appeared to be a very nice soap from what I can remember...

I only wish there was a way to get Blenheim Bouquet in a Razorock design...<sigh>...Or even Greenpond Sandalwood...what a lovely cream that was!!!!

As Crag mentioned I've had no interest in the MF and it was mainly for the name and that I had plenty of other stuff I like so I can be picky like that. Winky

Regarding XXX, I will probably pass as I don't find tallow to be a magical ingredient that I must have and my skin didn't respond too well from the oils in XXX. The scent was amazing and I would certainly consider it if it didn't irritate my skin.

Great smell, great lather, slick with great protection. Bargain price. There are very few that I have tried with all those characteristics combined and I have tried a bunch. I don't care about the name, cant see why that would be an issue. I prefer tallow, it retains its body better under my shaving conditions.

MF and I Coloniali Mango are neck-and-neck for my all-time #1 soap. They're both just the perfect combination of scent and performance for me.

MF actually helped kick-start my fragrance obsession. Its scent (i.e. Boellis Panama EDT) forced me to go find the matching EDT, which led me to a shop that had some other solid scents that really intrigued me and got that fire burning.

I have a new tub of the XXX, but don't really want to use it. Ha! I love the smell. Maybe I'll break into it when the new XXX comes out!
LOVE the XX.

Waiting on some XX from Joe right now. I'd definitely be interested in both MF and XXX. I missed them both, but have since become a huge fan of RazoRock products.

XX is awesome. I never tried the XXX; heard one too many stories about bad skin reactions to it.

I, too, did not purchase the Mudder Focker because of the name. Call me hypersensitive, I guess. Undecided

The MF name was not very appealing to me either! Laughing1
As for XXX, I found it to be a quite nice soap, with a lovely scent. I like it.

The name doesn't affect my shave. I think its a clever play on words since clay mud is used to create its slick shave. However, depending on your mind set, XXX could sound like something from the red light district. So, one could have an issue with that as well. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and wet shaving is supposed to be fun. Wink
