Anyone else have any experience with this cream?

I just got some in and did a test lather and it whipped up a thick slick creamy lather in nothing flat. Can't wait to try it out here in a couple days. Tributes Shave Cream is "Unscented" for sensitive skin but there is a very light coconut fragrance which is pleasant and doesn't linger.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Steric Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Fatty Acid, Glycerin, Triethanolamine & Sodium Hydroxide

Seems like a quality Made in USA cream.

Hardware used:
-Schick Injector
-Simpson Duke 3 (2-Band)

Overview:

I'll keep it short as sweet. The lather is up there with the best of them. Just a little almond size or just a slight dip on the end of your shaving brush is all you need to produce a rich slick lather. It provides sufficient cushion and the lather it produces is definitely enough for a 3 pass shave but of course YMMV according to what size/type brush you may use. The lather is very slick as well. I normally let the lather sit on my face for a minute or two to allow it to soften the hair and work itself in and the blade had great glide across my face.

Someone mentioned below that the ingredients in the Tribute Shaving Cream are similar to E-Shave's unscented cream. I've never tried any of E-Shaves products but with as many creams/soaps there are there's bound to be a few with similar ingredients.

As far as Tribute Shaving Cream is concerned, if you have sensitive skin there's probably not a better shave cream out there. Personally I tend to lean towards scented creams more but this is a great cream that I'd put up there with the three T's any day as a matter of fact I'd probably start ranking Tribute as the fourth "T". Would love to see what a scented cream from them would be like.

I'm pretty excited to try it out. I shaved yesterday before I got it in, late afternoon. Today I'm going out of town and I could take it with me and shave tomorrow morning but when I try a new product I like to be at "home base". So possibly tomorrow night. Unfortunately I'm going to break my Tabactober streak but after that test lather I can't help it. haha...

Something that has me extra pumped about this shave cream is that it actually softened the hair on my brush after I did the test lather. (Duke 3 - 2-band)

If they can parlay this cream over to a few scented creams it could give the 3 T's a run for their money. This "unscented" version is already the easiest lathering cream I've ever experienced. I've tried all of them TOBS, Truefitt & Trumpers.

Tribute Supply company gets strong marks for their marketing aptitude. However, it appears that Tribute Supply Shaving Cream and eShave Fragrance Free are one and the same or at lease closely related products. Here is some evidence:

Ingredient lists match including parentheticals and terminology like "coconut fatty acid".

Tribute Supply
purified water (aqua), stearic acid, myristic acid, potassium hydroxide, coconut fatty acid, glycerin (glycerine), triethanolamine, sodium hydroxide

eShave Fragrance Free
Purified Water (Aqua), Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Fatty Acid, Glycerin (Glycerine), Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide

Product directions and descriptive text are similar in that they say fingers or brush... and make the same claims of "raising the hair"

eShave
" Apply only dab of eShave Shaving Cream on your face using your fingers or a Badger Hair Shaving Brush.
Use warm water to obtain better results. To generate more lather, add more water.
As you apply the cream, it raises the hair away from your skin to prepare for a closer shave."

Now Tribute Supply

Directions
"STEP 1: Dab tip of wet shaving brush or finger into cream - only a pea sized amount is needed - STEP 2: Work cream into lather directly on skin or in a shaving bowl - add water for richer lather - STEP 3: Apply to face and experience a traditional feeling shave your grandfather would be proud of!"

and

"This uniquely crafted cream creates a slick coating that raises your hair away from the skin for the closest shave. Mix in your hands or with a badger shaving brush."

Anyone have both?

Interesting, Aimsport. Tribute could have been retro-made based on eShave's formula, or it could be the same cream repackaged.

Either way, it's probably a darn good cream, because eShave creams are really nice.

Well .... I got some and it is fantastic ... whips up stable and very slick lather...works very well with my straights and Cobra Classic.

Literally when I barely dipped the tips of my brush I had enough lather for 4-5 passes

This cream was delivered today. The packaging is nice, but smaller than I was expecting. I'll probably give it a shot this weekend.
