Quite a coincidence that John should post here at this time.
I got this group of soaps from John.
It looks like 2x what I actually bought becasue everything has been put into containers except for the stick.

I'll probably leave the stick open for a quite some time before using it. The scent is quite potent right now. Too much so.
Tomorrow I use the Valobra.

Beautiful brush. I really like the knot shape on that brush. What is the diameter of the knot ?

I received some heirlooms yesterday - straight razors that belonged to two of my maternal great-great-grandfathers, and a barber hone that belonged to my paternal great-grandfather.
Today I got a package from Mama Bear's Soaps, including sandalwood/vanilla for me, and lilac/lavender for part of one of my daughter's sweet sixteen presents.

What's the one on the left? Is that one of the 2010 customs?

Hey Jeff,
Those creams look interesting. Where did you purchase them from? Someone you know in Greece?
Thanks!

I don't have calipers, but just looking with a ruler, the knot appears to be 22mm.

I got some pictures of those heirloom razors. You can check them out this gallery.
I also picked up some samples and a new puck of L'Occitane Cade this week.

Got started on the 1st or 2nd with a brand new Weber DLC Bulldog. I have really fallen in love with this razor. I have about 5 shaves on this thing so far, three with Supermax plat and 2 with Astra SP blade. Five No Nick / No Weeper shaves, Five BBS shaves, zero tugging or pulling. It is simply comfortable and sooth as silk. I do believe this razor might be my Nirvana
