Also got the new formula Porasso...wow I liked the original but I love this stuff..very cooling and don,t need much to whip up the brush, bowl and even the rest of the sink...truly excellent .Rolleyes

A #77. Teeth are perfect. Plating on the handle is iffy in places, this may a candidate for a replate job.

Also a 10ml decant of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather.

Another of those 1550 Semogue with wooden handles... once again found in an old drugstore by a member of the Portuguese forum... once again the package is marked with the reference 1550, as you can see in the pics. But that "sounds" strange - the 1550 that we know of comes with a plastic handle, not an wooden one, right?

So, some time ago, we contacted Bruno and Mr. Gomes. And the mystery was solved: it seems that, at the end of the production of the 1550 model, the factory that made the plastic handles closed its doors - and that is the reason why the 1550 model is not produced any-more. As a result, there were several knots ready at Semogue, but there were no handles to make the brushes.

The solution was to glue these knots on wooden handles, similar to the handles of other Semogue models. And as the knots were the same of the 1550 model, Mr. Gomes maintained that reference on the package. And according to Mr. Gomes, only a few brushes were made this way.

I already had a 1550 with an handle similar to the 1800 model in my collection. Today, a 1550 with an handle shaped like the 2000 arrived. Shy

I just got some Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet aftershave, and because I really have liked the Houbigant Fougere Royale shaving soap and aftershave, I picked up some of their vintage hair lotion. It looks a little grungy in the bottle, so the proof will be in the use.

My first bottle of Floid Blue After Shave arrived yesterday. I really like the scent it's right up my alley. I could see myself buying a few more and stocking up before they are all gone.
