This is not a very good picture but this is my "haul" from Phil at Bullgoose. I am excited to try these new soaps and creams out. I have been wanting this Barley EJ since it came out. The Gillette blades were a nice touch. Thanks Phil Biggrin

what is the difference between called tallow and non-tallow? I have seen it referenced several times, but have been too lazy to look it up!

Tallow is rendered beef or mutton fat. So, the fats for the soaps came (at least partly) from animals. Some people feel that tallow soaps are superior for shaving.

Weber DLC razor with bulldog handle arrived yesterday. I used it this morning with a Shark blade. I will reserve my ultimate review until a few more uses, but I will say it appears to be effective, but not aggressive. I did not experience what I had anticipated with the DLC in terms of reduced friction (for want of a better term). The razor has a nice weight and definite visual appeal, but I prefer my OC razors at this time.
