While browsing on IB I saw these and was interested in both the American blend and the fresh vetiver, has anyone used these and if so how did you like/dislike them?

I haven't used either but they seem to be hugely popular on wicked edge. I would like to try the American Blend first but it appears he is currently out of stock.

If they were both in stock I would just take a chance on them and give a review.

I have a bottle of the Fine Fresh Vetiver. I have to say it is one manly scent. One of the best I have tried. Give it a try. You will like it.

I have never tried the vetiver but American blend is amazing. I generally pair it with some sort of barbershop scented soap. I'll also add that l'orange noir is amazing to my nose. It was my first fine scent and Very regarded in my book. Another to look at is fine platinum. It's mr fines take on creed aventus. Beautiful scent with a tad of cooling. All r winners in my book.

IMHO the 3 absolutely best scents Fine has - and all three are excellent...

Fine Vetiver
Clean Vetiver
American Blend...

Not in any particular order...  American is just a really great scent, Fine and Clean are distinctly different from each other and also great.

Orange is OK but I wouldn't buy a bottle after the sample.  If someone gave it to me as a gift, I'd wear it but it would take awhile.
Platinum I really didn't like.

I know you asked about only the two- but for what it's worth...

If you were really only going to buy one - go with the American I think.

All of Fines Aftershave are great products and I currently have in rotation or have tried all of them. Not sure which is which but IIRC one Vetiver is modeled after Guerlain Vetiver and the other is Tom Ford Vetiver. The Platinum is after Creed Aventus. American Blend is like a light Old Spice spent. Can't remember what L'Orange Noir was modeled after but does not agree with me. Snake bite is all about the menthol!

I have American Blend.  To my nose, it's a very nice, classic barbershop scent. It smells great (reminds me of our Barbershop soap scent) but I must be allergic to something in it - It makes me sneeze.  I'm alergic to almost everything though, so others probably won't have that issue.

I preferred the Clean Vetiver over the Fresh, but I have yet to try an aftershave from Fine that I didn't like.

I have Fresh, Clean, Platinum, and American but the Fresh Vetiver is definitely going down the fastest.

Fine Fresh Vetiver is a terrific aftershave--rivaling much more expensive products. For instance I have a bottle of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. $70/50ml. I think the Fine stands up nicely, not exactly, but nicely in comparison.

The performance is excellent, and they all smell fantastic!
You truly can't go wrong no matter which one you choose.
My newest is the Fresh Vetiver, clean, menthol-ly, and, well...fresh, it's highly addictive... Biggrin

American Blend is my #1 fav. Outstanding scent, long lasting and inexpensive compared to other products.

I think all their scents are great.
but for me, platinum smelled very pleasant and premium.
Fresh vetiver and clean vetiver smells, just very clean and fresh.

American blend, I am not 100% sure if I like it or not because it's too similar to old spice that I have.
Old spice is okay, but it's slightly musky (though not much), and american blend is pretty similar.  Maybe a tad bid more premium scent than old spice.

Try a sampler before you buy.
But you really can't go wrong with these two

Platinum + fresh vetiver.

Longest lasting scent for me was the american blend (strongest scent too), then l'orange, then platinum.
