That Rooney is worth every penny. I love mine, and it is one that I'll never part with.

What did you not like about it? The *only* thing I can say about it is that it is a bit of a lather-hog.

Man, those are some nice looking brushes. If I hadn't just ordered an M&F, I'd be all over that Duke 3. Good luck with the sale.

Hi I hope you dont mind me pointing this out but on the Duke it clearly states best Badger, and on the box it says super, there's clearly a mistake some where, normally Simpsons wouldn't mark a brush down as best if it were super?

Jamie -

They do this when people ask for a special grade of hair in a brush. They just use a regular handle (marked Best), and stick a Super knot in it.

The Dukes don't come in 2-band, so all the handles are marked Best - this is obviously a custom order.

Nice offerings. I love my 2XL and as stated, it's very soft. I have a Polo 10 in 2-band and it's the definition of luxury. I'll bet that Best makes it a great workhorse. Good luck!

The XL Heritage brushes are certainly worth EVERY penny! They're outstanding brushes with exceptionally soft tips. I just personally prefer the FEEL of the 2 band Thaters and dont see the need in keeping this one when it doesnt get as much attention. Once you learn how to load these XL's properly, which at first can be tricky due to there density, they have no problem releasing the lather well but yes, it does take some trial and error .

That Rooney is very tempting, but too large for me, unfortunately. Good luck.
