Just shaved with a Cobra Classic I picked up for the first time today and boy! What a smooth shaver this little baby is. It cut through two days of growth like butter and was very easy to get used to using!

I look forward to many more GREAT shaves with it! If you want that straight shave closeness but sometimes need a sub 5 minute shave ... this is the ticket in my opinion.

Best,

Jason

Congratulations Jason.

The Cobra is IMO the best razor currently on the market.

I am in complete agreement with Ben's statement, Jason ... the Cobra is the best razor currently on the market, in terms of efficiency/smoothness.

Congratulations!

pretty darn close ... maybe 7 minutes when im not using a straight .... about

1 minute - 2 minutes prep and then 5 minutes to shave .... not ideal ... but sometimes must be done

Still going through a bit of a learning curve at the moment. As I have never used a SE razor before, let alone the Cobra.........

Give me time and I am sure this will be a great addition. Glad too hear you are enjoying your razor, and continue to enjoy.

I need to post a contrarian view.

I've shaved twice with the Cobra. I AM NOT IMPRESSED.

It's top heavy which makes it unwieldly. The actual shave, though close, left my face feeling a bit raw. The handle shape just doesn't feel 'right' in my hand.

For a SE shave, I'll happily use a Schick model E and leave the Cobra to others.

As with all things shave-related, YMMV.

You are not alone, Max. I feel the same way, but still see it as a great and ingenious shaver, until now. I am looking forward with great anticipation to the Hunt/Lee razor. Blush

Max and Celestino, it's simply just another case of YMMV... :big grin:

If we all liked exactly the same thing this could fast become a rather boring place!

Max if you wish to sell your Cobra, let me know. If it has the old script then I'd happily buy it from you.
