This Italian made shaving cream is made by the same company that made the late great Domenico Caraceni 1913 shaving cream and EDT. It's a luxury shaving cream and it's worth the price. A while back, it was not available anywhere, and made me think we were seeing the end of yet another top player. However, as of today at least, it is back in stock at Straight Razor Designs. Royal Shave used to carry it, but evidently they've stopped offering it. If anyone is interested, now would probably be a good time to pick up a tub before it runs out again, if my information is correct that it's back in stock at SRD. In addition to the Original fragrance, it also comes in unscented. I have a tub of unscented, and it really is neutral.

Didn't XPEC sell for $80 not that long ago? I see it's listed at $66.99. Gary, if possible could you compare it's performance to other high end creams?

Hello, I’m in USA. I recently picked up a few of the large tubs of your shaving cream, scented and unscented. It is an excellent product, but very hard to find. Is it still in production?

I was all set to place my order, but I'm tired of paying so much for shipping, so I'm sitting this one out (for now anyway)...

This is funny Biggrin

I just bought the Xpec scented version 2 minutes ago along with the Floris 89 shaving cream tube Cool

I already own the Xpec Unscented version, it's a HUGE pot of shaving cream, think The Art Of Shaving Cream times 1.5 in size.

I would rank it in my Top 5 of best shaving creams, used to be in my Top 3, but lately it has slipped a bit, can't exactly tell you why - maybe I just need it in a scented version Tongue

Still is an awesome performer - the unscented version. Reminds me of the Simpson Shaving cream, which also is unscented - but the Xpec Unscented takes it to just a slightly higher level of overall comfort and glide of shave.

My current Top 5 shaving creams are:

1. Santa Maria Novella Old Formula (2012)
2. Acqua Di Parma Pot version
3. Acca Kappa Pot version
4. Penhaligon Blenheims Bouquet
5. Xpec Unscented

Honorable Mention: Castle Forbes Lavender & Lime & Floris 89

Bought my Xpec Scented shaving cream here:

Use shipito.com and save a packet on shipping fees.

The best retailer I have found is: O Lorenzi in Milan, they seem to have no problem with getting these wonderful creams.

You should also try the Original Xpec after shave balm, a real complement to the original cream. Not oily or sticky and a great moisturiser………..

I placed an order approx weight 2Kgs and only changed €12.00 via TNT tracking.

Thanks for the link. That vendor looks like a very good option for buying Xpec and some other hard to find goodies, even for US customers.

Andrew

Bummer. Looks like O. Lorenzi does not deliver to the US.

Also interested in a future buy XPEC, doubt is buy scented or unscented.
Version scent seems to be very powerful and scent like old barber or Floïd A.S.
