Yesterday, Muhle posted its new 2013/14 catalog. I spent much of the afternoon combing through it, and found a lot of interesting news.

The first thing I noticed is that most brushes are now available in three grades: Silvertip badger, Fine badger and Synthetic fiber. There are Pure badger and Black Fibre knots available in some brushes.

Similarly, most razors are now offered in DE, Gillette Fusion and Mach 3 versions. With the newly-offered array of stands and holders, the potential combinations are almost limitless.

Two new items of note are the expended number of wood-handled brushes and razors, and a new Intro series called LISCIO. I've already ordered the KOSMO olive wood shave set shown below. There is also a picture of a LISCIO set.

All components may be ordered either as individual pieces or as part of a set.

I really like the Olive wood material, but I don't think either set is destined to make a home in my nook. Thanks for sharing!

Wow!
I have an older olivewood Muhle (a custom piece, if I can call it so as you could order some options at that time) but this wood is much more 'outspoken' in its pattern.
Looks nice!

Is the Fine just for badgers or for the synthetics as well? (I wouldn't want the STF to be any firmer than it already is.)

Just for badgers. You're right about the STFs. Any thinner would make them cosmetic brushes, not shave brushes.
