It took a while, but I finally ordered a Thater brush, the 4376/5. I received it a few days ago and couldn’t be happier with it. I really like the Plexi handle. Click the image for a close-up.

I have a Thater 4292 size 4, which I love both aesthetically and in terms of performance. In fact it's one of those things that the more I use it the more I like it. In terms of price, quality and performance it can't be beat.

Nice looking brush. A two band Thater is on my wish list.

Nice looking brush. I think its handle is more interesting than the usual "generic" Plexis that all look the same.

Size 5!? Is it a beast?

And, even if its not, its a fine looking brush. The plexi is sweet.

Max, this one measures around 28mm X 57mm. The stated measurements on the SRD website are 26mm X 58mm. That's pretty close, I guess.Confused I'm glad I chose the 3 band. It's got some firmness, but probably not as much backbone as a two band might have. I think this one's just about right. And it's really soft, hardly any scritchiness when lathering. Packed pretty tight.
