My two Semogue Excelsior Texugo "Buffalo Horn handle shaving brushes arrived yesterday Saturday 2nd November.
From the start of this thread I would like to point out these handles are the same as used in the: "ForoAfeitdo" that came out in July / August this year.....
Through our good friends @ Barbear Classico (Portugese forum) and "Leon" aka Bruno, I was informed of two new brushes.....
1st one is a three (3) band SilverTip and the other is a Two (2) band Finest super..... in photographs the 3band is on the Left.
Spec's: Note *** HL & LH do not include the 3mm metal ring !!!
3 band SilverTip:
OL = 102.4mm, HL = 48.7mm, HD = 38.2mm, LH = 51.3mm, K = 25.7mm, W = 80.5g.
Observations: Soft when dry, Fine hair shafts, still plenty of backbone & firmness/density.
-------------------
2 band Finest super:
OL = 103.2mm, HL = 48.5mm, HD = 37.9mm, LH = 51.6mm, K = 24.3mm, W = 73.9g.
Observations: Scritch when dry..... Thicker long black hair shafts, Beautiful white tips, plenty of Backbone & firmness and densely packed.
On both brushes the handles are very ergonomic & easy to hold. Horn coloration is wonderful. Enjoy.

My favorite of the two is the 3-Band AKA Selected Silvertip.
Regards.
My only advise would be contact "Leon" aka (Bruno) and I think your right about the 3band S/Tip. The Spec's on this pressed all the right buttons for me.
