I've been spending too much time lately on YouTube, watching wood turning videos...

Yes, I want a lathe now. Badly.

It's funny you posted this, Hans. Just the other day I was discussing the thought of lathe acquisition with someone! Biggrin

I have no desire to acquire a lathe, but I love watching stuff like this. Thanks for sharing Hans!

He makes it look so easy!

Hans, are you still interested in acquiring a 3-D printer?

Now that I have room in the garage, this too has been on my radar as a tool to pickup (small bench model). I had watched that exact video last Friday. Forstner bits, turning tools, etc will be on my wish list Cool

My lust for toys are wide - toys such as 3D printers and lathes... much, much wider than the space to keep such fun things.

But, a man can dream. Only 16½ years until retirement, and I'm sure I can manage to make some free space in the shed by then Tongue

I've considered the same thing Hans, but for me the hich is time. Yes, I'm retired, but there are still only 24 hours in a day, and I savor every one of them and guard them jealously. Folks don't realize that retirement is a 24/7 job. There are no paid holidays or vacation days; no time off at all to pursue what we retirees want to do.

I gotten this bug bad though - not only do I keep watching YouTube videos, but I'm also window-shopping for hobby-sized lathes Undecided
