I have this gorgeous Wiborg shaving brush that I decided I was going to change its badger hair knot , following the steaming method (remember to cover the handle and the badger hair with aluminum paper , which protects it from the steam).

The brush is a good performer with a two band hair , but I wasnt really crazy about it and I found an old 24 mm TGN super silvertip grade A knot (this knot must be from 2010 ! ) that I decided to put on the handle (again , gorgeous handle indeed).

This is the result :

Im very happy with the result ! The silvertip grade A is a dense knot , with curled tips , which makes it extra soft , with the gel alike feeling that I truly enjoy on a brush.

Now it truly looks like a stunning brush ! Biggrin

Very nice transformation, Teiste. The new knot complements the handle shape/size quite nicely.

I must say also, that I've grown to like the Wiborg scripting on the handle. It's quite distinctive.

Congratulations, and enjoy!

Looks like it came from the factory that way. Nice work T!

Ps if you kept the old 2 band knot I wouldn't mind using it for an experiment.

Looks very nice!
Is it even possible to reuse the knot that you pulled out?
