Hello all!

A brief intro:
My name is Phil. I am 48 and I have been wet shaving with vintage DE and straight razors for approximately 5 yrs. I started using vintage Gillette razors and then straights about a year later. Earlier this year I decide to revisit DE razors. This came about because I had never tried new production DE razors and wanted to give some a try. I realize that many of the new production razors are similar but my goal is to assemble a handful that are a bit different and that I would like to keep in my rotation/collection.

Curiosity and being able to draw from your own experiences as well as others is what makes this hobby great.

That brings me to the present. I have tried a Merkur OC, a Weber polished and currently have a DE89, Razorrock Jaws OC, A couple Sabi T2's, a Merkur 34g, a Maggard MR3 and a Muhle r41 en route.

While researching the Muhle r41, I stumbled on to this forum and thought I would join.Smile

Sure, I can post some pics of my den/collection. Is there an area for that?

Thank you for the warm welcome! Also nice to see others from WI as well.

Ok, here are a few quick pics of some items I currently have. While not as elaborate as most I have seen, this works for me. Please excuse the poor pics.

and I just realized I forgot the strops, stones in my carrier and items in my medicine cabinet. But you can see I have been at this for some time.
I have tried and sold many items but never seam to reduce to the size I would like.
