I know Wisconsin.  That image appears to be not-Wisconsin.

Where?

That was just walking distance from the Sylvan Lake Lodge, Custer State Park, South Dakota.
The lodge was amazing.
Here was my transportation...long gone now.

To avoid cabin fever, my wife and I went out for a drive on this beautiful day.  We went around Alki Beach, which although not as crowded as usual, still had some singletons, couples, and a few small groups, strolling and sitting on the sand.  Here's an image looking north toward the Seattle skyline.

And here is one looking west at the snow-capped Olympic Mountains.

Despite the recent changes, it's still beautiful, and we feel blessed to live here.

Looks beautiful at peace.
Have never been to Seattle.
I hope to be able to visit Seattle, New York and San Francisco on our US trip next year, if the world still stands at that time.....

During these hard times, I’m going to spend more time walking and exploring the areas outside from Copenhagen, Denmark to get fresh air and avoid too crowded areas.

John - Thanks for the nice pictures on Seattle, WA.  I made several business trips to Seattle before I retired.  I was able to visit Mt. Rainier NP, Olympic NP, Hoh Rain Forrest and drive Hy 101 along the coast.  You live in a very pretty area.

I've been working from home a couple of days a week. Early this morning I noticed our Blue Heeler/Rottweiler mix rescue named Hap enjoying the morning sun and sniffing the air, and quickly took a photo of him through my study window.

We have a lot of orchids randomly spread out in our yard.  Most of them have either attached themselves to trees, or are hanging from trees in wood baskets.  We don't do anything to take care of these orchids, yet they regularly produce beautiful flowers.  I recently noticed that these two had bloomed.  Amazingly, if you look carefully, you'll see a large number of unopened buds which will eventually bloom.

Everything gets edited, at least within your camera, unless shooting raw with only manual settings. But no, it's just the color of early morning light and strong light at an angle passing though the plants.

Oh you Florida people. We have to grow them inside, and it's a buggar to get them to bloom. Very nicely done, Ricardo.

In that case, that’s a stunning photo.
