Has anyone had any experience with the Matador Toro Mastiff? I would be curious to know how this razor compares to others. I'm thinking about giving it a shot!

I like it the handle itself is worth the $$ its semi aggressive more than a merkur 34c or ej89 but not too crazy like the r41

For me I found the Toro Mastiff, feels good, looks good, but I think a bit aggressive for me. I use the Feather DS2 and a Muhler R89. Good luck

Part of the Cadet razor family. Made in India. They are excellent razors for the money.

imo the handles are nice and they shave only okay for me. just know the finish on the heads imo is really not very good. i bought one and gave the head away and kept the handle.

I have two and could be persuaded to part with one for the right offer.

The heads are a tad aggressive for me, but the handles are a great value; very heavy and well-made; brass with chrome-plating or a type of gold-plating!

I've heard about this razor a bunch of times and was wondering how the performance was. I've had the mildest to the R41 so I would like so I would like to experience middle of the road perfection.

Considering what you have stated, here, I would say the Toro Mastiff head would be middle of the road for you, but I couldn't guarantee that it will be perfection as that would depend on your technique. Good luck.

I had a Toro mastiff, it's a bit more aggressive than a EJ for example. Great razor, looks nice, but the plating is not great. In fact I sold mine for this reason.

This is my go to razor. Plows through my whiskers with ease. It is quite aggressive but smooth for me. Always worth a shot, if not you can S&T the item.
