Looking at my collection of 50 something brushes and a dozen of soaps/creams I sometimes wonder if that is too much… Blush

But then I relax over a glass of wine and decide which brush/soap I need to try next… Biggrin

I find a lot of people have hoards of brushes on these forums.

How many of these brushes actually get used?

If someone would have told me two years ago that one day I would have anything over three brushes, I would have balked at the idea. Now I have over 13 brushes and I feel like I am barely getting started BiggrinBiggrin.

It seems like for every one I buy, I find 2-3 others that all of a sudden I "must" have....my wife just gave up on asking why I "need" another brush. Wink

If one day I'll find yourself being sure that you had enough the fun would be over. So as long as you enjoy it, there'll never be enough.

I was reading a post, I don't remember where, about a guy that had to go to Italy for 3 months and only took one set. After a while he got bored, he wrote that he was as bored as if he'd be with cartridges and goo.

In the end the fun lies on the options that you have. :-)

Nice collection. I find that I like to try out a lot of different brushes but I am also a minimalist, not a collector. So after I have them for awhile and not using them regularly I feel like I should sell them. I usually only keep 2-4 brushes at one time. But it is very enjoyable to see these collections and envy them. Thanks for the pictures.

I'm learning that there indeed can be enough of something you truly love, but the search for all different flavors of love keeps me searching, collecting and experiencing...Brushes have caught me by surprise this year, and in turn I've grown my collection accordingly...today I just bought one of the very last two-band Simpsons still avlb. at my brick and mortar shave shop...Emperor 2 in two band...absolute stunner, great feeling knot out of the box & proportions are perfect...the handle is a perfect example and size for my long thin fingers...It truly is perfect for bowl lathering and makes lathering soaps a pleasure as with all Simpson two band badger hair(haven't tried with cream yet) actually just some fresh R.R. XX croap w/some R.R. XX a/s balm...lovely experience altogetherHeart
