Took stock the other day. I have five flavors of Pinaud's on one shelf! How that happened, I'm not sure. =]
Anyway, my choices these days are Clubman Original, Clubman Vanilla, V.I. Bay Rum, Citrus Musk, and Clubman Special Reserve. I find these are a good value (in the States, anyway) and deliver pleasing scents.
Have I gone overboard? Maybe, but the price allows me to indulge myself. Hey, it's a hobby, no?

It brings back pleasant memories to me. Mostly of the cutie who cuts my hair at her shop in town.

Just the other day I once again passed up the chance to buy the Lilac Veg which is available at the brick-and-mortar stores around here.

That's what we call a win/win.
For me I regularly use regular Clubman and Clubman Virigin Island Bay Rum as part of a rotation, particularly in the winter.
I'm lucky, SWMBO likes old Barbershop scents so the Clubman scents along with Aqual Velva and Skin Bracer in the summer all set me up for the day.

It's gratifying for me to find a well-made mass-produced product of any kind from the USA these days.
The haircutter is the little sister of an old friend. I remember her as a gawky kid and she has turned out to be a successful businesswoman and isn't even 26 years old!

I have the Clubman Original which is one of my favorites. The aftershave triggers fond memories of my hometown barber during my early to late teens. He kept the original aftershave and talc on hand. I remember it was one of the first times that I liked the scent of an aftershave enough to ask what it was and to purchase some.

I have all of those mentioned. The Special Reserve is the one I can't handle. I don't understand what it is supposed to smell like. I think it is supposed to smell like Pashana, but Pashana has pleasing scents in addition to the Special Reserve type smell.
The "love it or hate it-no middle ground" Lilac Vegetal suffers from being in a plastic bottle. Relocate it to a glass decanter and it will smell like it was intended.
