Here's my last acquisition, a 1924 Gillette Old Type Pioneer Special Olympic.

These were made in the USA for the French market, and perhaps other European markets. It is a special series commemorating the 1924 Olympics in Paris.

It includes a very curious instruction book in several languages, including English, Portuguese, French and Spanish, among others).

Amazing really. You are so lucky over there in the States and Europe with all these hidden gems. Australia has the occasional object that surfaces, but far fewer emerge. Just as well wet shaving isn't huge here yet Smile Congratulations. That's an absolute 'bewdy' (as we say here)

That is amazing ...unused and with the case and papers....I have the same razor...in pretty good condition but not like that...want to trade? (I,ll throw in a pac of blades)....Biggrin
