Is this just good for lighting the BBQ, or do you use it with other stuff like Monkey Brains?

I used it as a teenager. I think it stunted my growth.

lol
During the summer I stayed with my grandpa he used to slick down my hair with it. I don't know, maybe he was trying to encourage me not to come back...

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone uses this stuff. I know people use Jeris.

The two things I remember:
1. Smelled like a combo of Ether and Pine-Sol
2. Warning: Do Not Smoke Until Hair Is Fully Dry!

I should give this stuff a whirl for old time sake.

Ahhh! I love it, use it every day. Why so negative, or are you just kidding? I really like the scent. I have hair, and Vitalis works for me. A few years back somebody started a rumor that it was hard to find, and I called the company in El Paso Texas. I asked if they'll ever stop making it, and the lady said "Never!!!". That's all I needed to know. Can you imagine how many guys like us are using this stuff, it always flies off the shelves!

It's available in the national drug store chains here, and Walmart I think. Pretty widely available.

I use Groom 'n Clean, which is a water based gel in a tube with very minimal hold and a good clean feel and smell. Makes more sense than alcohol-water(Vitalis) to me.

I'm kidding. I haven't used it since I was a kid and am curious if anyone uses it I have to say, the warning is pretty amusing.

I should try some Groom 'n Clean. Today I sprang for a tube of Brylcreem to see what it's all about.

I use Vitalis all the time. I usually use it for a couple of weeks after a fresh haircut when I don't require a lot of hold. I enjoy the feeling on my scalp and the scent is lemony pleasant.

As my hair grows longer I use progressively stiffer pomades. I love the sweet spot where Brylcreem and Groom & Clean get applied as well. I usually end the cycle with Murray's

I used it as a kid along with Wild Root Cream Oil and Brylcreem. Now I just wash, comb, and let it dry. What ever happens after that is alright with me.
