I was kind of shocked to see that Pils razors were for sale in the USA. But the price has spiked from $239 to $275. The Euro & English Pound have risen drastically is probably the cause which also affects shipping charges.

I'm glad they were out when I bought mine from a German dealer. Looks like I saved almost $75.00

Unlike Ben and Celestino, I will not be selling mine. Only thing I'm upset about is that I did not buy one sooner.

How does the shave of the Pils compare with that of the Tradere? I only ask because the head design is very similar.

Anybody had both of these razors?

I had both. Notice I said HAD. Dumbest thing I ever did selling those two razors, both were excellent. I preferred the PILS over the Tradere but there are others that prefer the Tradere. Hands down no other razor that I know of has the engineering in it that the PILS does. Just a thing of beauty.

I have the Pils and I had both an OC and SB Tradere. I kept the Pils but sold the Traderes. The Traders were well made and gorgeous but I felt they approached the medium aggressiveness level and I prefer mild. I love my Pils and I call it the Hammer of Thor. haha

I put the Modern in a class with and equal to the Tradere.
