We're aware of a few forum bugs so please be patient with us while we fix them. as of right now, these are the known issues we're working on:

errors viewing attachments
marking all forums read
large fonts in some signatures and posts

if you know of any others that I haven't mentioned, please let us know so we can work on them!

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Not a bug, but a request to add an additional option to "Date and Time Options":

Display date format to ISO8601 (international *standard*) eg

Today's date: 2012-03-01

Take care, Mike

To mark forums read I just click on the straight razor to the left of the forum.

Only other thing I'm not seeing now that I think is helpful is a way to jump to the first unread post.

Thanks for your efforts.

I'm not entirely sure if there can be two different date formats set at once, but I'll certainly look into it.

if you click on the "mark all forums read" below the forum itself, you'll probably get an error.

It looks like the green arrow next to a thread topic will take you to the first unread post now. It may have done this before and I didn't notice it even though I remember trying it out a couple times.

Date Format can be changed to your liking in your control panel under "Edit Options". This is also the same place where you can change your timezone so that timestamps are relevant to your location.
Edit: I'm thinking though that I may be misunderstanding what it is you're after here. Sorry for any confusion if you're already aware of this option.

Hi Andrew

I'm not after (displaying) two different date formats.

I just would like to see an option added to "Date and Time Options" (Date Format drop-down menu) to display the date in ISO8601 format eg 2012-03-01

Take care, Mike

Hat tip again Sir!

I can honestly say I had not noticed that (sneaky) little "green arrow next to a thread topic". Sleepy Seems to work perfectly for me Smile

I guess MyBB is just going to take a little getting use to from an end users point of view...

I see what you mean now. I'm going to have to look into that, I'm not sure if I can add that in the admin control panel or if it'll need an edit to the core files.

Hi Andrew

Not a bug, just a heads-up...

Code:
<div class="inner"><a href="http://shavenook.com"><img src="images/reksio/home.png" alt="glowna" title="Powrót do strony głównej" /></a>

I believe the content associated with the above "alt" & "title" attributes needs updating.

Take care, Mike

I'll check that out. the theme was coded by someone who wasn't English, so I expect some of that stuff.

the attachment error is also fixed. if an attachment is missing, you might have to reupload it.

Hi Andrew

Now that that button takes your to the new Portal page (looking good), instead of the Forum "Home" (aka "The Shave Nook) page as it did previously (prior to the Portal page going live), could you please look at updating the "alt" & "title" attributes accordingly?

Would help me retrain myself from clicking on that button expecting to be returned Forum "Home" page, or maybe that buttons now needs to be removed from the forum menu navigation bar... just throwing out my thoughts here.

Edit: Huh Am I going mad here, or has the action of that button just rolled back to its "original" behaviour?

Take care, Mike

we disabled the portal for the time being. shavenook.com should go directly to the forums now, until we get the portal configured how we want.

the alt and title attributes are on my list to fix, just low on the list right now.

Hi Andrew

Ok! so I'm not going totally mad here :s

No worries, totally understand updating those "alt" & "title" attributes are low hanging fruit; seeing the "Portal" page prompted me to bring them back up...

Not sure if I should post this here or in a new thread, but I have been getting the following problems intermittently over the last day or so:

- SQL error messages
- Messages that I do not have the right permissions, which happened whenever the URL contained a php file.
- Page not found errors

Just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for all the hard work you do to create and maintain this forum!
