Just came across these on the interwebs, and I love the design. Too bad they're sold out!

They've got LeisureGuy's endorsement too.

I sent the company an email asking when they would be back in stock. The gray aluminum is $69 and the black is $79. I noticed that the end caps appear to be completely covered. But the shave quality is the most important part.

Their blog said they'll have more in stock the first week of January.

Look interesting - although I'm wondering if the grip might be slippery when wet...

Something to keep an eye on, for sure. Thanks for sharing Smile

I was wondering about that too. According to LeisureGuy's review, it wasn't: "...in fact the handle’s smoothness did not turn out to be a problem: it was easy to hold once wet, and I never noticed any slipperiness during the shave."

I'd be interested to see a matching brush and stand.

A reply from the company said razors will be back in stock around January 2nd or 3rd and because they ran out so quickly will probably give free shipping. This is good news.

You might be correct however, this razor is made of aluminum which only translates to a lightweight shaver so grip might not be an issue.

The only unconventional thing about this razor is that you cannot use third party handles with it.

If Bang & Olufsen (B&O) made a razor, it would look like this one. Wink

Not a fan...does nothing for me. I can see how the modern look would appeal to some though

The head looks like another rework/homage/copy of the Muhle r89, EJ89, Merkur HD/34c, Weber, Lord L6, etc.

That suggests that it will be a fine working whisker whacker.

If aluminum floats your boat, and you don't mind the non "standard" handle and handle stud arrangement, it should be great!

This razor has me intrigued, as well.

I just read through the page quickly, but I didn't see anything that said the razor head was incompatible with other handles. Where does that information come from?

I'll look forward to your impressions, John.
