The pure badger(black colored) about $72.00. The Pure silver tip $89.00. Are they worth the price? What do you think? The price in British pounds is $44.99 pure, 54.99 silver tip.

That seems high for pure badger. Huh The silvertip though seems more than reasonable.

I would agree they seem priced high especially the pure badger. They are very cool looking brushes though.

It has a big knot indeed. I just scaled the picture and measured it. It's really about 27.5 mm at the base. The handle measures about 36.5 mm diameter. I think the price is reasonable for such a thick silvertip knot.

I don't like the handle to be honest.

There is also a metal handled one I have seen too. It looks quite nice. A link to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMEGA-6652-100...2117wt_754

The handle is an interesting one if you are generating a theme around an old time barber shop. The price for the pure seems high. The price for the silvertip seems more reasonable. Neat to look at, but I have enough brushes that even that one would get lost in the crowd.

Well now that I know they're 28mm knots, I think the price is quite fair actuallly.... Hmmm its even bigger than the Swarvoski...

I'm personally not a fan of the handle... the pure seems a little over-priced, IMO.

I like a well-placed barber pole but well, er, that handle is not well placed. Would be interested in the Pure Silver Tip in the other handle, though. Good luck.

I was wondering what the cost of those were going to be. I thought it would make a cute brush for display but not at that price. You could get a Simpson or Rooney for that kind of money. I wouldn't buy another Omega badger to actually use. My first brush was an Omega pure and it was too floppy.

I agree with all so far. I kinda like the handle but at that price, not so sure. But that knot would be a cream monster for sure!
