If I find the finish to be sub par I plan to black it out like I did "el Gordo"

It is a nice and smooth shaver overall. My issues with it are the threading issues with certain handles (iKon did change the threading with this head). AKA my older iKon bulldog wont even fit the head. It is also very mild, not my style really. Most people really like this razor though, especially for the price.

I liked this razor enough to buy two, excessive I know but this is a great razor for me. On the two heads I have, there have been no problems with threading any of several handles I have tried, BRW, Feather, Tradere, iKon bulldog.. They all work. Take Harvey's suggestion on adding a little light oil to the threads and you may be okay.

I can't think of a better valued razor for what you get. Although mine was a "marked" one, I can't tell where the imperfection is. The craftsmanship is outstanding. In all honesty, I probably would have paid over double the price and still be extremely satisfied.

Congrats on your purchase and good luck Biggrin. I hope you enjoy it!

I also bought one of the discounted marked models from Phil. I received it yesterday and I cannot find any markings. It is pristine as far as I can see. For $59.99 it is the best valued razor I have bought yet.

This is my new go-to razor. The shaves I get are the best I've ever had and I'll be getting rid of all else.

I still like it pretty well, but it's taking a back seat to the Tradere and to the Stahly for me.

I'm not going to sell it just yet; I think it has a place in the rotation.
